the StreamTroopers

From our humble beginnings we always did things a little differently. We are a Discord, but not like others you may have seen! The StreamTroopers were founded back in 2018 by EllizDee and LazyGamer89 as a "place to support content creators of all sizes and experience". With both Elliz and Lazy being experienced content creators themselves this gave them the outlet to support more people and help them avoid the mistakes they had both lived and struggled through. This was all done through honest and open advice and a true passion to see everyone not only grow within content creation but help them to enjoy it more too.

Over the past 2 years we have see (and done) some truly amazing things! Countless streamers going from "I would like to stream" to Twitch affiliates and some onto Partnership. We also had 3 births, a marriage proposal and some people formed relationships having only met within the Discord. We also raised over $600 for Breast Cancer and all the proceeds from our merchandise went to good causes.

Fast forward to 2020 and the community grew to over 600 active members.

It was in July of 2020 that we took the tough discussion to temporarily close the Discord, to enable us to make some much needed changes so we could deliver a much improved service something this amazing community deserves!

This started from the ground up, rooms, roles and a brand "refresh" to a all new Troopers + program open for all with a desire to grow within in the industry.

We have many things that are going on within the community and there has never been a better time to get involved, whether you're starting out or a seasoned pro, we offer guidance, support and safe place to grow no matter your size or experience.

Our very own EllizDee is the definition of busy, not only the owner and founding member of the StreamTroopers, he is also the presenter of our StreamerFiles Podcast but also (in his words) a "Stream-at-home" Dad to two Lil' Deez and supported by his wonderful wife Mrs Dee! A self proclaimed Destiny "fanboy", the designer of all the StreamTroopers graphics and a Board Member of Gameology News. You can find him on Twitch, Youtube, as well as frequently chatting in the Discord.

LazyGamer89

Co-Founder

Pretty laid back gaming style. Talented but try to keep it humble. Lazy plays mainly in parties with other friends. All about team playing and multiplayer gaming. Mostly console gaming on PC. Lazy took a step back from the StreamTroopers in 2019 to focus on family life but will always remain the Co-Daddy. You can find him on Twitch.
